PGA TOUR Superstore Named Presenting Sponsor of the Women in Golf Foundation’s 31st National Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship
Championship Week to Showcase Elite Competition, Professional Development, and Career Pathways for Women’s Golf Teams
March 24, 2026, Atlanta, Georgia - The Women in Golf Foundation (WIGF) proudly announces PGA TOUR Superstore as a Presenting Sponsor of the 31st Annual National Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship, reinforcing a shared commitment to expanding access, visibility, and opportunity for women and girls in golf.
The Championship will be held March 29–April 1 at The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas, bringing together women’s golf teams to compete for the prestigious Renee Powell Cup. Named in honor of LPGA legend and World Golf Hall of Fame member Renee Powell, the Cup represents excellence, resilience, and leadership in the game.
As Presenting Sponsor, PGA TOUR Superstore joins in elevating one of the most significant competitive and developmental platforms in women’s collegiate golf. Through its leadership in golf retail, equipment access, and player performance support, PGA TOUR Superstore continues to play a vital role in growing the game at every level.
“As Presenting Sponsor, PGA TOUR Superstore is investing in the future of women’s collegiate golf and in the advancement of women in professional careers. This partnership extends beyond competition, strengthening professional networks, expanding opportunity, and enhancing community and philanthropic initiatives that support women as they rise into leadership roles across industries. Together, we are shaping what comes next for women in sport and in business,” said Amber Shaw, PGA TOUR Superstore.
Championship Week: Where Competition Meets Career Advancement
Championship Week will begin with a Welcome Reception and Networking Event, followed by the annual Business & Collegiate Golf Scramble, where student-athletes compete alongside corporate executives and industry leaders, building relationships that extend far beyond the course.
A cornerstone of the week is the Professional Development Workshop Day, which provides student-athletes with resume-building sessions, interview preparation, career-readiness programming, and structured networking opportunities. These workshops are designed to prepare participants for life after collegiate competition while connecting them directly with corporate and industry leaders. The theme for this year is ‘Champion Your Power. Elevate Your Presence.’
The Championship will also host a women’s golf clinic designed to introduce and engage more professional women in the game, expanding golf as a platform for executive leadership, business development, and community building.
Elite Competitive Pathways
The week culminates in a 54-hole stroke-play competition featuring women’s golf teams from across the country. The Division I champion will claim the prestigious Renee Powell Cup, while the Division II champion will be awarded the LaJean Gould Cup, named in honor of Women In Golf Foundation founder LaJean Gould and her visionary leadership in expanding opportunities for women and girls in golf.
In alignment with WIGF’s commitment to creating tangible competitive advancement opportunities:
The Division I Low Medalist will earn an exemption into an event on the Epson Tour, the official developmental tour of the LPGA.
The lowest-scoring individual in the Division II competition will receive an invitation to compete in the Pro-Am alongside an LPGA Tour player and global executives at the Chevron Championship, one of the LPGA Tour’s major championships.
These elite opportunities reinforce WIGF’s role as a bridge between collegiate excellence and professional advancement, on the course and in the boardroom. “We are proud to welcome PGA TOUR Superstore as our Presenting Sponsor. Together, we will amplify the impact of this championship—advancing the game, elevating visibility, and expanding career pathways for women in golf,” said LaJean Gould, Founder and President of the Women in Golf Foundation.
