Golf Camp
2008 Youth Golf Summer Camp Session
1 June 2nd – 13th Session
2 - July 7th – 18th
The curriculum includes: Introduction to the game of golf for girls and boys. Golf skill fundamentals – grip, stance, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, rules and etiquette. Learn to play a game that mirrors life and its obstacles. Learn the physical and mental game and its relationship to life. Intermediate and advanced skill development Establishment handicaps and handicap reduction initiatives Life skill development to assist in leadership development and the preparation for college. Learn decision-making, planning and organization, how to focus and improve self-esteem. Participants study and play golf in the morning, enjoy life skills in the afternoon with practice time the last hour of the day. Competitive sessions are offered the 3rd week of each session. Participants must successfully pass skills test to participate in the competitive sessions. Registration Fee: Session
